I want to throw my computer out the window!

HELP! My Management Professor has asked that we use this computer program to take online quizzes and submit them for a grade. However, last night I could not figure out how to work the program. There is an access code and an access key and different URL's and passwords. It is actually ridiculous that I have spent so much time just trying to figure out technology which is supposed to be shortcutting everything and making our lives more efficient. I found out today that I was not the only one having issues with the computer program we needed to use. Some people’s suggestions to getting on were to hit the back button or to click on the button again before the error message came up. How was I supposed to know that! That is not how computers are supposed to work! I can’t just like read it’s mind. I think that sometimes technology is more of a hassle than what it is worth. I wish I could invent the supercomputer that never messed anything up, but that is kind of unrealistic. Computers really can mess up people’s lives when you hit the wrong button, lose everything you have saved or simply can’t troubleshoot a problem all of which seem to happen to me all too much.We really rely on technology a lot in our society today.

But, not everyone of my generation is technologically savvy. My Itom professor was like 70 years old and taught me how to create a website, I have no clue how he mastered that but basically I am just saying some people just aren't meant for such complex technology no matter the age. Why are we assumed to be masters at all technology just because we are young? Yes, some things such as texting and social networking on computer devices is easier for young people to tackle, but not how to fix a program glitch or even set up a program by following the confusing directions on the screen. Well, I just hope those computer genius’s out there can create some machine that will fix all these problems! Not everyone is going to be good at computers just like not everyone is good at math. As long as there is someone out there to help.
